The Indoor Riding Arena is 70x180 with an addition on the side (20x180) for tying horses, bleachers, washrooms and a coffee room.
The covered stalls are available for rent for $20/night.
Drop in fee to use the arena is $20
We rent the arena out for private bookings, 4-H lessons and clincs, achievement days, roping jackpots, practices, canine agility and archery. Membership forms can be picked up in the coffee room in the arena, online or by calling the office @ 780 524-3473. Everyone who rides in the arena must have a membership and sign a waiver and these forms as well are available in the coffee room. Everyone rides at their own risk and safety is a priority in the arena.
The hall is 40x50 with the addition of a fully equiped kitchen, washrooms, bar and office. The capacity is 220 with tables and chairs and 275 with only chairs for seating. We rent out the hall for weddings, banquets, anniversaries, Christmas parties, public meetings, workshops, sales, wedding and bridal showers. We have a P.A. system for the hall and riding arena.

Congratulations to Karsten Havell and Amy Mulligan on recieving the Ag. Society Scholarships. Karsten is going to GPRC Fairview to become a journeyman welder and Amy is attending the University of Saskatchewn taking a Bachelor of Science Program - Animal Bio Science. Congratulations and all the best of luck in your future endeavors from the Agricultural Society.
This very spacious area has an arena that can be used by members at a rental rate of $15/hr. The arena is also part of the membership and can be used by members when it is not booked. It is used for jumping lessons, gymkhanas, barrel racing jackpots, roping competitions and various clinics.
The Crocus Hill Stampede is held annually in August at the rodeo grounds.
The Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society found its beginning in our community in 1967. On November 9th of that year, the first executive was elected as follows.
